Prime Mnister of Czechoslovak Government in the period of 5.11.1935 - 21.7. 1937 and  21.7.1937 - 22.9.1938. Left Cechoslovakia before German occupation in 1939. Lived in Paris and later in USA. He refused the position of the vice premier in Benes's exile Government in London. Died in USA, moved from Chicago Cemetery to National Cemetery in Martin (Slovakia)
